Price:
$12.00

The LM34CAZ is ideal for cold-junction compensation(CJC) temperature measurements. Customers who are using thermocouples on an external CB37 terminal board can simply wire this sensor to a nearby analog input, and correlate the CJC offset within software.  Simply connect +Vs to LabJack VS, GND to LabJack GND, and Vout to a LabJack AIN terminal (FIO/EIO is best on the U3). It has a very convenient output of 10mV per °F, so 0.78V would correspond with 78°F.

  • Typical Accuracy ±0.4°F
  • Operating Range -40°F* to +230°F
  • Output Voltage 10mV/°F

The LM34CAZ is the most accurate version of the LM34 precision temperature sensor made by Texas Instruments; it is not manufactured by LabJack, so the LM34 datasheet is hosted by Texas Instruments.  Some soldering may be necessary to add length to the sensor wires.  For more details about this sensor and a detailed look at different kinds of temperature sensors, see our temperature sensor app note.

*When powered by a LabJack device VS/GND, the range will be limited to 0 to 230 °F

Clip used to mount a LabJack device to a DIN rail. Simply attach this clip to the backside of a LabJack device, and clip it to any DIN rail. This clip is manufactured by TE Connectivity, p/n TKAD, or 6-1437661-4.

We recommend two TKAD mounting clips per U6, UE9, and T7, because these LabJack devices have mounting locations for two clips. As shown in the image, the U3 only has one spot for a clip. These clips are also compatible with the grey Snaptrack on our accessory boards. So for instance, it is possible to mount a CB37 to the DIN rail.

The LJTick-Resistance (LJTRx) makes it easy for LabJack devices to measure resistive sensors. This tick gives users a regulated 2.5V signal that can be used as a excitation voltage and a known resistance value in series with a sensor input line. This gives users the ability to calculate the resistance of their connected sensor.

  • Uses precision 1k, 10k, 100k, or 1M resistors in a resistor divider setup.

Common Applications

  • Measuring resistive sensors like RTDs.

Price:
$25.75

Increases the output current of the DAC outputs on LabJack devices. Can also be used for switched 3.3V when attached to a 3.3V digital I/O line. LabJack devices cannot output more than about 15mA on their DAC0 and DAC1 analog outputs, so this accessory is very helpful for users who want to increase that capability. One common application is to control the speed of a low voltage DC motor.

  • Drives up to 200mA
  • 0-5V output range*

*Max is tied to USB supply voltage, which is 5V nominally.

Very low bias current (1pA) input buffer which can directly measure pH sensors (electrode type sensors) and other weakly driven or high source impedance signals. The analog inputs on our compatible DAQ products (U3, U6, UE9, T7) have typical bias currents on the order of 20 nA, which is quite low, but the LJTick-InBuff reduces that dramatically.

  • Only requires 1pA bias current
  • ±10V input range
  • Has pads to optionally install gain resistors

Overview The LJTick-Divider (LJTD) is a signal conditioning module designed to take two single-... more
Price:
$25.00 - $40.00

Overview

The LJTick-Divider (LJTD) is a signal conditioning module designed to take two single-ended higher voltage analog signals, and divide them by a specified value. These devices come in divide by 4, 5, 10, 25, and "C" or Custom. The 4-pin design plugs into the standard AIN/AIN/GND/VS screw terminal block found on LabJacks such as the U3, U6, UE9, and T7.  The use of large resistors and a precision op-amp buffer provides an input impedance of 1 megaohm. The resistors can be customized to allow for a wide range of configurations.

The LJTD can also be used with higher voltage digital signals.  The LJTD-4 works for 12V or 24V logic.  A 12V signal will divide down to about 3.0V which is a logic high for any LabJack.  A 24V signal (or even much higher voltages) will result in about 3.5V, as that is the max output of the LJTD, and that also is a good logic high for any LabJack.

Naming Scheme

The naming scheme for the dividers reflects how much voltage reduction is performed on the input voltage. -4 indicates "Divide by 4", -5 indicates "Divide by 5, etc. As a quick example if you are using an LJTD-4 and you supply it 8V, the divider will output 2V.

Custom Dividers

If the custom range is selected, specify the desired range in the order comments and expect a 1-5 day delay. See the datasheet for typical custom options and names used to specify. If you are purchasing a custom divider (or need help ordering one) feel free to send us an e-mail at [email protected]. Please include your name and order number with your e-mail inquiry.
