Like the UD series devices before it, the U12 User’s Guide is now on our site as web pages. Check it out here:
What does this mean for you? A few things.
First, if we discover any errors in the User’s Guide we can correct them quickly and easily. We can also clarify sections that are unclear or commonly misunderstood. Please leave us a comment on any section you have a question about. We’ll do our best to address your issue and improve the documentation for everyone.
Second, if you aren’t a native English speaker, you can now use Google Translate to easily translate the guide into the language of your choice. Instead of translating the User’s Guide section, you should leverage the power of the “Printer-friendly” version that we offer for most support pages. The steps to translate the whole guide are simple:
- Go to the U12 User’s Guide.
- Near the top of the page is a link with a little printer icon that says, Printer-friendly. Right click on that link and copy the location to the clipboard.
- Go to http://translate.google.com/.
- Paste the address into the text field. Select the language you want from the menu next to “Translate into” and click “Translate”.
If you need a PDF version for easy off-line viewing, instead of the “Printer-friendly” link, click the “PDF” link. This will generate a PDF version of the pages on the site.
We hope this improves the accessibility of our documentation.
