Difference between the UE9-Pro and UE9
The UE9-Pro can do everything the normal UE9 can, but adds an additional ADC. Both the UE9 and UE9-Pro have the "high-speed" ADC, while the UE9-Pro adds a "high-resolution" ADC.
In Section 3.1 of the UE9 User's Guide you can see timing information for both converters. In Appendix B of the UE9 User's Guide you can see noise & resolution tables for the high-speed ADC (UE9 and UE9-Pro, resolution index 12-17) and the high-resolution ADC (UE9-Pro only, resolution index 18).
Hardware Specs
The UE9 hardware specifications page has a detailed list of features.
UD Series Software Options
- Sample Applications: LJControlPanel (part of the normal Windows installation) has a test panel where you can view all inputs and manually control all outputs. LJLogUD.exe collects analog input data in command/response mode, displays it on screen, and writes it to file. LJStreamUD.exe collects analog input data in stream mode, displays it on screen, and writes it to file.
- Programming: If you know any language we probably support it. This includes C, C++, C#, Delphi, Java, LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, MATLAB, Python, and Visual Basic (VB6/VB.NET). Start on our main support page.
- DAQFactory: DAQFactory is measurement and automation software from Azeotech. The Express version of DAQFactory is included with each U3/U6/UE9/U12. DAQFactory allows non-programmers to make custom applications. It is easy to collect input data, convert to engineering units, display it, and log it to file, without any programming (see the quick tutorial). Scripting is also supported so you can do advanced applications with control and automatic setting of outputs. Check out www.daqexpress.com, and on the UD downloads page check out the DAQFactory - LabJackUD Quick Tutorial and the DAQFactory - LabJackUD Application Guide.
- CloudDot: For applications at about 1 Hz or slower, our CloudDot system is a great way to do everything online. Get started for free at cloud.labjack.com.
All of these are free, at least to start. There are premium versions of DAQFactory and CloudDot available.
