i just started using labjack
i just started using labjack and labview and i have run into some trouble:
1) when using labview how does one assign the B1,C1,B2,C2 values to the pusleout?
2)if given a desired pulse duration(cycle length), how do you find B1,C1,B2, and C2, and what is the equation for each?

1. I am not sure what you are asking. You pass the desired values in to those parameters of PulseOut or PulseOutStart. For LabVIEW help, go to the LabVIEW Examples (U12) page and forum topic #84.
2. I don't understand this question either. The equations are given above. For example, using the simplified approximate equation, say you want to create a 10Hz square wave. That means the period of the square wave is 100ms, and each half cycle is 50ms. So using the equation us=20*B*C, you could use B1=C1=B2=C2=50. You can also use the PulseOutCalc function to help.

Yes, your equations look
Yes, your equations look good. Lets use the approximate equation us=20*B*C. Set C1=C2=1, and set B1=B2=50. That means both half cycles are about 20*50*1 = 1000us, the period of the signal is about 2000us, the frequency is 1/0.002 = 500 Hz, and the duty cycle is 1000/2000 = 50%.
Note that all our newer devices are much more capable for PWM output.
