Appendix B - Enclosure and PCB Drawings

The square holes on the back of the enclosure are for DIN rail mounting adapters (TE Connectivity part #TKAD).

CAD drawings of the T7 enclosure are attached to the bottom of this page. (DWG, DXF, IGES, STEP).

On the next version, please consider putting another mounting hole in the case. Perhaps move one or more of the connectors to one of the long edges, and then you can have a hole similar to the ones on the other end of the case.

Cheers,

Thomas

If the need is to secure the case permanently on both ends, consider the wall-mount 45° slots.  These slots can be used to mount the device at any right angle, upright, sideways etc.  Use two screws spaced 5.75" apart, partially submerged into the wood/drywall/etc.  Then after the device is situated on the slots, just further add a screw(or 2) into the permanent screw mount holes on the end opposite to the comm. edge, this makes the device incredibly secure from all angles.

It would be great to have a 3D model of the OEM board with the holes and main interface connectors. In some ways that is more useful than the enclosure, since the boards are intended to be incorporated into another assembly.

We don't have a 3D model of the OEM version at the moment.  We do provide two 2D drawings of the PCB and with mounting hole locations and and pin locations for the interface connectors.   There is enough information to generate a quick model to meet your needs for the time being.  Have a look at the two PDF drawings listed below the T7 enclosure models.

Thank you for the information. I have already used those in creating a model. However, it would be very helpful to have the locations, shapes, and dimensions of the Ethernet and USB connectors, LEDs, etc., so that they can be matched to a custom enclosure.

We are updating our drawings and will have something up soon.
