The Exodriver library / API is used to communicate over USB with the LabJack U3, U6, UE9 and U12 in Mac OS X and Linux environments. Other APIs and examples on Mac OS X and Linux, such as the LabJackPython for Python and ljacklm for the U12, can require the Exodriver.
The Exodriver functions documentation can be found in the labjackusb.h header file, available in the Exodriver source code download.
Carl Friis-Hansen provides a C++ class with a high-level interface to the Exodriver.

For users upgrading to this new version will have to change the instantiation call as the path to the LabJack device has changed into a numeric number.
So the call should be something like:

This is a LabVIEW Library for LabVIEW 2010 for Mac OS X and Linux. It uses Call Library Function nodes to interact with the Exodriver. The examples should be compatible with both Mac OS X and Linux. Included is the Xcode project used to make the required Mac OS X Framework and source code to build the Linux shared object (.so). We created a blog post describing how we built a library for Call Library Function nodes.
The download uses Call Library Function nodes not Code Interface Nodes (CINs). CINs are no longer supported in LabVIEW 2010. When they were we wrote a blog post describing how to build LabVIEW CINs for Mac OS X using Xcode.
