Family Tree is a non-profit human services agency providing innovative, life-changing services designed to end child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness.

Rooted in the metro Denver community since 1976, Family Tree recognizes the intersection among child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness. And, based on their expertise, they change how individuals, families, and communities see, respond to, and overcome these challenges.

Thank you to the donors and volunteers who empower Family Tree to meet the needs of those affected by these issues in our community.

Volunteers from LabJack visited Family Tree this June.

The team came together to help transform the kitchen of Family Tree’s Parenting Time Program
at the Karlis Center.

The Family Tree Parenting Time Program provides a safe environment for children to spend
time with their non-residential parent, through supervised visits and safe exchanges.
Community members who use this service do so for a variety of reasons, but the time spent
together at the center is always focused on the experience of the children in the program and
strengthening these families.
The kitchen at the Karlis Center is one important way that parents or guardians can spend time
with kiddos, whether they are making snacks together or just enjoying time around the kitchen
table, this interaction has been sorely missed since the kitchen was closed at the start of the
COVID-19 pandemic.

The amazing volunteers from LabJack truly came to the rescue! Providing a deep clean of the
kitchen as well as donating food and cleaning supplies to revitalize the space and bring it back
for families to enjoy. The team also generously cleaned and organized other areas of the
center, including the entrance, making it more welcoming, as well as the playground.

LabJack's summer interns from Colorado School of Mines helped clean up the playground and yard outside the Karlis Center at Family Tree

Family Tree could not do this work without the help of incredible volunteers like you. If you are interested in volunteering or donating to Family Tree you can learn more here: https://www.thefamilytree.org/explore-various-volunteer-and-internship-o...
