That download is for if you are using a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows (including 64-bit Vista), but with 32-bit software.  This is quite common for many applications.  64-bit versions of Windows have the ability to run 32-bit software through a layer of abstraction.  Most programs that people will run on 64-bit vista will be 32-bit software.  For instance if you compile a program using a LabJack for XP, you can transfer that over to 64-bit Vista and use it no problems with all that is contained in the above download.

The case where things are different is if you are using a 64-bit version of Windows (such as 64-bit Vista) and a 64-bit program.  This could be true if you are running a 64-bit version of Matlab or LabView for instance.  In that case you need a 64-bit version of our .dll, which is currently found in another download.

Note:  In our next release (which should be soon) we are going to combine all this into one installer so no matter what version of Windows you are using or what kind of application the installer will put everything where it needs to be.
